The Fourth Way
Approaching the Teaching of Gurdjieff
The philosopher and spiritual teacher, Georges I. Gurdjieff (1866-1949), was a fundamental transmitter of the teachings of the Fourth Way. It opens up essential perspectives on the human path to liberation.
This topic characterises increasingly the teachings of the spiritual master OM C. Parkin and our foundation activities in 2024.
Here you will find an overview of what is planned for this year as well as more in-depth information.
“The Fourth Way aims to develop and integrate the three parts of the human being and all their abilities equally. The Fourth Way touches all sides of the human being at the same time. It is work on all three rooms at once.”

Following Gurdjieff’s Footsteps
An Interview with Robin Bloor
This interview is part of the March issue of the Foundation’s newsletter. Robin Bloor, a true disciple, contemporary witness and Gurdjieff expert, tells us how he came into contact with the work and became a student, how the succession of Gurdjieff disciples is doing and what he sees as Gurdjieff’s intention for humanity.
If you do not yet receive our newsletter, you can subscribe here. You will then receive an e-mail about four times a year with inspiring texts, news, event information and other valuable articles about the Foundation’s work.
Key Event on the

In Search of the Miraculous – Introduction to Gurdjieff’s Teaching
June 14 – 16, 2024, Gut Saunstorf Monastery
On this special weekend we can expect insights into Gurdjieff’s teachings from Robin Bloor, a Gurdjieff expert and teacher from Gurdjieff’s direct lineage. This is a rare occasion to approach the complex teachings of the Fourth Way and to have the possibility to ask questions and exchange ideas.
His lectures will be complemented by the movements teacher Ekant J. Billing, who will present Gurdjieff’s music and give an introduction into the sacred dances.
The highlight will be a discussion between OM C. Parkin and Robin Bloor.

Insights into Life & Work
In his book »Meetings with Remarkable Men« Gurdjieff describes his childhood and youth at the foot of the Caucasus and the path of realisation that shaped his later teachings.
Peter Brook made the book into a film and created impressive images of Sufi teachers and sacred dances in hidden monasteries. This is the story of Gurdjieff’s early years.

In The Tales, Gurdjieff exhorts his readers to read his writings in three different ways, with the following words:
“Read each of my written expositions thrice:
Firstly – at least as you have already become mechanized to read all your contemporary books and newspapers. Secondly – as if you were reading aloud to another person. And only thirdly – try and fathom the gist of my writings.”
This site is primarily devoted to assisting its visitors to read his written works in the third way.
