Indian Concert
Music elevates, ennobles and transports the soul
Sun, March 16, 2025 | Gut Saunstorf Monastery – Place of Stillness
With the musicians: Samanwaya Sarkar (sitar) and Subrata Manna (tabla) as well as Nushin Morid (singer/multi-instrumentalist) and Deva Parkin (voice and multi-instrumentalist)
The Foundation is organizing an extraordinary concert at the Saunstorf Monastery. We are delighted to welcome the two Indian professional musicians Samanwaya Sarkar and Subrata Manna, who are on tour in Germany at the beginning of the year.
In the interplay with the two musicians Nushin Morid and Deva Parkin you can experience a fascinating and unique combination of classical North Indian music with Western-inspired, spiritual sounds – a dialogue between Indian tradition and Western modernity. Let yourself be carried into Indian worlds by this heart-touching music.
After the concert, you can treat yourself to a small selection of lovingly prepared Indian delicacies, homemade cakes and coffee in our monastery café.
We look forward to welcome you there!
